Bokeo Cafe is the best bang-for-your-buck restaurant in Huay Xai! The meals here are around 20,000 - 30,000 LAK ($1 - $1.50 USD) and are relatively big and filling. Bokeo Cafe is perfect for an early breakfast before catching the slowboat to Luang Prabang and offers some tasty and hearty Lao dishes. If I'm ever back in Huay Xai, I'm for sure returning to this spot.
