ABOUT THE ADVENTURE
I visited Haeundae Beach while in Busan, South Korea. It is a super popular spot and the beach itself was packed. At the time, there was a sandcastle festival going on, which was cool, but only held my attention for about 15 minutes. At that point, I wandered around the Haeundae, Busan neighborhood. Separate from the sandy beach part, there is a boardwalk which takes you across the rocky coastline. There are several train stations on the way and a train designed to take sightseers down the coast. There is also an elevated track which takes small railcars up and down the coastline with a private viewing. I wasn't keen to spend money on either, but have been told by a friend that the private cars cost around $40 USD for two people and that you have to pay the two person admission even if you are taking a car alone. I highly recommend being raggedy like me, jumping the fence of the boardwalk, and wandering around the rocky shoreline. You might not be the only one doing this, as local fisherman often fish in the area. However, be very careful when exploring the boulders, as it's easy to slip and fall.
