ABOUT THE ADVENTURE
While walking through the Tam Côc portion of the Tràng A Complex (a UNESCO world heritage site), by mom and I stumbled across the Thai Vi Temple. Dating back to the 13th century, this is one of the most stunning temples I have ever seen. Built in 1258 under the reign of King Tran Thai Tong, the temple served as a place of worship dedicated to the Tran Dynasty's ancestors. The temple's construction reflects the architectural style of that era, characterized by simplicity and elegance, with wooden structures set against a backdrop of lush greenery and limestone karsts. Standing in the courtyard, I could feel the history and imagine the past. The Thai Vi Temple is outside of the typical tourist radar and was not very busy despite being an amazing remnant of ancient times.
